College Entrance Examination Review (CEER): Day 9

College Entrance Examination Review (CEER): Day 9

April 3, 2020 – Day 9

Motivation for the day: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, but a habit.” — Aristotle

I started late for today’s review session (9:40 PM). I was too tired so I decided to take a short break. Anyway, I’m going to study GenChem1, compounds and Stoichiometry to be specific.

Before the actual review, I recalled the important points and formulas from the recent chem chapters I reviewed (those that are written in manila paper). It took me 30 minutes to recall (was hoping it would only take 10-15 minutes).

Timer starts again in 3, 2, 1…

11:21 PM: I’m done studying naming of compounds! 🥰💝 (the topic became easier after I self studied it. during our chem class, I didn’t pay attention to it that much because I was intimidated 😂) #LessonLearned

12 AM: I already started with the basics of Stoichiometry,,,🥳 So glad I took notes of our chem class discussions. It’s kinda shocking that I can still remember how to solve these problems. Perks of being a STEM student, I guess? 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Study time: 01:49:14.48

I’m done for today’s review! It was a short session, but was substantial. My study time in total for today is 2 hours and 20 minutes. I hope I can make improvements in my time management tomorrow. I’ll try my best! ✊🏼

I tried studying with music today. I expected it to distract me in a way but surprisingly, it didn’t. Study vloggers on Youtube do it all the time so I decided to try it as well. Here’s a link to the playlist: CLICK ME! :>

I don’t know but I’ve been fond of watching ‘study with me’ as well as university vlogs on Youtube. It motivates me to study more and it gives me an insight as to what is waiting beyond me. YES, A LOT OF WORK. HARD WORK!😆😂

I’ll take English tests on Zookal before I sleep. I used to be confident about the English part of CETs because it’s a subject I’ve always been good at. Now I’m questioning if I’m really good at it 😂😂 My test scores ever since I started online tests on Zookal were either 13 or 14 over 20.😆 A brush up of skills are necessary HAHAHAA

WRAP UP: Ternary polyatomic ions, molecules, compounds: ionic and covalent, compound nomenclature, types of chemical formulas, fundamental (or elementary) particles, relative and average atomic mass, Avogadro’s number and mole concept

176 days to go before CETs season!! 😭 YOU CAN DO IT SELF,,,, super rAwRrRRr to that!!!! 😆😂🥳🥳🥳
